Key features

Content first

Basestation used a content-first design approach for this project that prioritises the creation and organisation of content before focusing on visual design elements or technical implementation.

Component based design

Taking a component-based approach to website development complements content-first design by providing a flexible and scalable framework for organising and presenting content effectively.

Accessibility

To ensure inclusivity and accessibility for users with disabilities the site was built to confrom and exceed WCAG 2.2AA. This includes providing alternative text for images, keyboard navigation support, and colour contrast optimisation.

Sitespeed

To ensure accessibility and maximum site speed for users with no direct access to the internet, the site was built to perform and load quickly on mobile devices using a lightweight front end with few images and graphics.

Wordpress

Custom WordPress build and template to deliver a mobile first user experience.
